HATSSON is the acronym for Herbal And Tea Science Society Of Nepal – came into function in 2021 under the Organization Registration Act – 1978 (2034 BS) of Nepal after uniting brilliant minds with experience and research. We as a team have grown since its humble beginning, and so have our enthusiasm, dedication and commitment.
We have become the voice of Nepal’s herbal & tea industry. Camellia sinensis , Coffee arabica hundreds of species, medicinal herbs and spices have become prime elements of our times of Home & Globe. Currently, we are handling over 100+herbs, tea and spices. At HATSSON, we believe in the power of nature and natural science. Based in Kathmandu, HATSSON has an extensive study, research & innovate team providing new solutions.
We are determined to improve the food we eat and drink with ingredients from mother nature. So we have been devoted to perform, reform and transform our existing styles, methods and motions to cope & re-cope with changing, degrading & depleting conditions of modern nature and natural resource. Thus we emphasize to plant & replant on deforested & degraded land. We prioritize to grow tea, herbs, spices or other timber or non-timber plants around forbidden soil or reluctant land. We do popularize to eat organic and live with nature & natural legacy. We prefer to coexist with all species of flora & fauna. We do voice to balance the natural heritage of food chain

HATSSON is the innovative leader in Nepal’s herbal as well as tea industry backed by scientific research, findings and knowledge. We have collaborated with/established organizations on various research projects. The outstanding team of botanical professionals, herbalists and researchers carry on ultimate goal of achieving and harnessing the top quality, essence, importance and optimum use of herbs, tea and spices. We embrace sustainability, ingredient purity and environment conservation.
The shared vision was verbalized in the nature of Nepal and the Globe, where perp!e within the herbal industry from all around the nation gathered to venture together into rich known places as well as untouched and unexplored species with valued significance. Even World Health Organization (WHO) and other relevant UN Systems prefer to appreciation & recognition to herbal importance in the health & hygiene of human races as applied science like Ayurveda, Hemopathy, Alipathy, Unani, Naturopathy, so on.
Besides these Eastern concept & practices of medical & hygienic philosophy on body therapy & treatment as hitherto existing several Himalayan traditional therapies still exist as Sun Therapy, Yog Therapy, Sidda Therapy, Tantra/Mantra Therapy, Aqua Therapy, Bio-therapy, Amchi (Lama-Buddist) Therapy, Hypnotic Therapy etc. We follow the guidelines, conventions, regulations and global standards while undergoing the study and national as well as research process. As our journey continued, we built a solid foundation by learning more about herbs and tea developing an effective organizational framework. We have committed to bring evolution to herbalism in Nepal and connect and create a positive impact on the world as well. Thus cyclic process of learn, unlearn and relearn has been pivotal theme of biospheric balance, use and conservation philosophy.

Launch scientific study, innovation, development, research with application of tea, herbs, spices and aromatic plants that are available in Nepal with the help of modern technology, traditional knowhow and specialization.
Voice advocacy to conserve and preserve different rare, endangered and precious species in our natural environment, ecological niche or far away in the globe.
Create employment opportunities, assist in eradicating poverty, contribute to the value-adds in national economy and earn foreign currency by promoting, mechanizing & industrializing tea, herb, spices and other useful vegetation.
Conduct public awareness, social activism and advocacy regarding the local importance, popularity and usage of tea, herbs and spices for beauty, health and medicinal purpose.
Promote to establish Tea Culture and Herbalism through the traditional & modern habitual usage of food system in our society biologically connecting organic with natural phenomenon.
Guide, promote and motivate potential business by following regulations and guidelines by preserving, developing and monitoring indigenous natural resources. Also , help local farmers & producers to reach the international market.
Provide informative as well as productive advertisement on usage and importance of the study, research awareness of these herbs to traditional herbal treatment.
Establish vibrate relations with related academic bodies, organizations and individuals and conduct or organize workshops, meetings, seminars, fair, excursions, research and mutual programs for cooperation, multi or single program/ projects, observation visits in national or international levels.
Establish research centers, workshops, laboratory, for scientific and practical knowledge, research, innovation, analytic and phytochernical study of tea, herbs and usable vegetation, like clonal development, tissue culture and hybridization.
